Moderization Sales Representative

What to Expect:

The Elevator Modernization Sales Representative will be primarily responsible for helping the organization to expand our clientele. This position will develop and execute a market specific sales strategy with the goal of driving sustainable financial growth through rapid sales expansion and by forging strong relationships with new clients.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

Develops a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction. Utilizes all forms of cultivating new business including leveraging existing relationships, cold calling, exploring available records, and participating in local functions such as trade shows and trade groups. Researches and identifies new markets and customer needs. Joins and participates in local and regional B2B networking groups. Responsible for the profitable sale of modernization contracts on a full line of vertical transportation equipment (elevators/escalators). Establishes contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers of service and repair contracts by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads, and utilizing prepared marketing strategies. Develops positive ongoing relationship with property ownership, management groups, and consultants. Conducts business meetings with prospective clients. Generates sales among client accounts, including upselling and cross-selling. Develops and maintains long-term relationships with accounts. Ensures clients receive requested products and services in a timely fashion. Oversees customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profit.
