WE LOVE OUR WORK.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Patrol Assigned Areas: Conduct regular patrols of the casino lot and surrounding areas using a vehicle to maintain a secure environment.High Visibility: Maintain a high profile to deter potential security threats and provide a sense of safety for patrons and staff.Handle Problem Situations: Address and resolve security issues, including handling disturbances and responding to emergencies.Safety Hazards: Identify and report safety hazards to prevent accidents and injuries.Assist Medical Officer: Provide support to the medical officer in case of medical emergencies.Security Escorts: Provide security escorts for monetary transfers, fills, and credits.Customer Assistance: Assist customers with directions, calling cabs, and car trouble. Provide special assistance to disabled patrons as necessary.Crowd Control: Oversee customers entering and exiting the casino, provide crowd control, direct traffic, check IDs, and ensure prohibited items are not brought onto the casino floor.Table and Slot Drops: Assist with table and slot drops, observe the soft count crew, and transport funds to the soft count room.Monitor Entry and Exit: Monitor all entry and exit points from the soft count and vault areas.Dispatch Duties: Serve as dispatcher, dispatching other officers to various assignments and maintaining activity log sheets.Surveillance: Watch and record monitors to ensure security and compliance.Incident Reporting: Write detailed reports for incidents involving law violations and/or violations of company policy and procedure.Court Testimony: Testify in court on behalf of state gaming boards as required.Physical Activity: Occasionally perform strenuous physical activities as required.Uniform and Appearance: Meet department uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements.Attendance and Policies: Adhere to attendance guidelines and comply with regulatory, department, and company policies.Clean Work Areas: Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris, and litter.Safety and Responsibility: Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.Additional Duties: Perform any reasonable request made by your supervisor or any management personnel. Age: Must be at least 21 years of age.Customer Service Experience: Minimum of 6 months of customer-facing customer service experience.Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.Related Experience: Preferably six months of related experience and/or training.Physical Mobility: Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations, including the ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs, and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance when performing job duties in various work areas such as confined spaces.
