The primary work in this space is as follows
+ Migrating the entire Application from Xamarin to MAUI (priority focus).
+ Supporting Business needs – this usually means deciding whether to implement in the (soon to be) legacy Xamarin app or waiting to deliver with the MAUI rollout.
Responsibilities:
+ Participating in the crafting and vetting of cards on the team’s board.
+ Acting as a sounding board for the Product Owner and Tech PO.
+ Owning cards and delivering functional code per engineering standards.
+ Participating in code reviews via the PR process.
+ Participating in the maturation of DevOps processes.
+ Helping to ensure the MAUI transition is not just a “lift and shift” to a new tech stack but rather reimagines the solution as necessary to meet current and future needs.
Qualifications:
+ At least 5 years of experience developing Mobile Apps in Xamarin and/or MAUI.
+ Experience with migrating an App from Xamarin to MAUI.
+ Comfort with re-engineering a solution while migrating tech stacks – ability to have collaborative discussions re: effort and reward.
+ Self-starters – comfort with owning work and driving forward while maintaining accountability and transparency with their team.
+ Comfort with the concept of feature flagging and ability to work with a solution like Launch Darkly.
+ Track record of partnering with UX / UI teammates to deliver user-centric solutions.
+ Excited about DevOps and how their team can be the most efficient about developing, testing, and releasing code in a highly predictable way.
