We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long\-Range Assault Aircraft \(FLRAA\) part of the US Army's Future Vertical Lift \(FVL\) modernization effort\. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High\-Speed Vertical Take\-Off and Landing \(HSVTOL\) program, a next generation stop\-fold aircraft\.
This position is onsite in Fort Worth, TX\.
**Mission Analysis Engineer**
Bring your experience and ideas and help us develop, assess, and optimize our military aircraft for mission effectiveness\. You'll create models and simulations to evaluate aircraft capabilities and requirements including weapons coverage, signature levels \(IR, RF, EO\), sensors available, network and communications, aircraft vulnerability, ASE subsystem capabilities, and other aircraft survivability and mission effectiveness factors\. This role will be an integral part of the team, working closely with customers and subcontractors\. You'll be able to hone your technical abilities on significant engineering problems and new development efforts, all while gaining experience in leadership and communication\.
**What you'll be doing as a Mission Analysis Engineer**
Perform mission analysis for military aircraft using modeling and simulation tools and evaluate and optimize aircraft mission effectiveness\.Refine and develop Bell's tools and methods for multidisciplinary optimization of aircraft mission effectiveness\.Optimize aircraft survivability performance by identifying effective aircraft design features and employment tactics\.Collaborate with government and industry teams to shape the development of new modeling and simulation capability \(upgrades to existing tools and development of new tools\)\.Identify and acquire new tools that should be employed to simulate aspects of aircraft survivability\.Establish proficiency with and employ software tools related to aircraft survivability at the engagement, mission, and operational campaign levels\.Construct representative employment scenarios \(terrain/environment, enemy threats, friendly forces, etc\.\), threat behaviors and mission objectives spanning the spectrum of conflict\.Develop mission analysis evaluation scenarios to provide a framework for aircraft evaluation\.Present analysis results to both internal and external audiences\.
**Qualifications**
**What you need to be successful**
Bachelor's degree in EngineeringAdvanced degrees will be considered as additional experience\.Related degrees with relevant experience will be considered5 years of experience in operations analysisAbility to obtain and maintain a SECRET Level DoD clearance required
