Title:
MISS: Task Order PRC Manager (Contingency Hire)Please note: This position is located in Baghdad, Iraq and is contingent on award.
This position is responsible for managing the overall planning and execution of all Facilities projects throughout Iraq. The duties and responsibilities listed are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.
Duties:
Provide oversight of all PRC operations to ensure optimal project planning, scheduling and execution to meet mission requirements.
Interface with Facilities and Post Management to provide expertise in project planning and updates on milestones, completion, and quality level being provided by the PRC.
Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
Comply with all Environmental & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals. Provide information and materials to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate and legal documentation.
Oversight of work performed by tradesmen to ensure that it meets specifications, codes and established industry standards.
Instruct supervisors and staff in company work policies and procedures.
Review work orders and work order requests to ensure tasks are completed on time and inspect the projects to ensure all work is accomplished per the SOW.
Confer with staff to resolve performance and personnel issues.
Conduct daily meetings with trades to discuss project work, client concerns and trade shop workflow.
Evaluate employee performance.
Required:
Minimum Acceptable Experience Level: Ten (10) years of experience managing facilities-related renovation and construction projects.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of principles and processes involved in supporting contract responsibilities at an overseas facility.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Expert communication skills to facilitate and disseminate information.
Expert computer skills, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to become an active and functioning member of a team.
Ability to be innovative and be an agent for change.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
Licenses and Certifications: Valid driver’s license from home of record.
Security Vetting: Already possess a U.S. Government (USG) issued Secret security clearance or be able obtain a favorable USG Secret clearance prior to being hired is required for the position. Must maintain eligibility at the required clearance level for the duration of the task order.
Language Skills: Satisfactory English proficiency to meet job requirements and to adhere and comply with safety, health and security measures.
Citizenship: U.S. citizenship is required.
Desired:
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or master’s degree in a similar profession.
Relevant overseas contract experience.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project and Visio.
Previous work experience in hard environmental conditions.
Cross-cultural sensitivity with an international perspective.
