A great mining company in Gauteng is seeking the expertise of a Mining Engineer to join their team.

Essential Requirements:

Grade 12 Degree in Mining Engineering Blasting Certificate for Scheduled Mines Mine Manager Certificate of Competence 6 – 8 years of experience in an underground trackless mining environment Minimum 1 years as a Mine Overseer

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for operational readiness on designed and development execution projects Support the adherence to mining layouts and development plans. Manage short interval control system in the Development section. Identify, plan and manage value engineering projects. Project control and reporting. Be the contact link between Group Projects and On-site Projects to align, manage and execute and tests trials and studies. Identify and manage projects-related continuous improvement initiatives. Management and tracking of key KPIs feeding into planning and budgeting process.
