Mining Account Manager
Ziegler CAT has an opening for a Mining Account Manager who is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with mining customers in Northern Minnesota. The Mining Account Manager represents the Caterpillar product line, providing information on products, prices, availability, product uses and credit terms. This position functions as the first point of contact for the customer and therefore must stay current on all products and technology in order to sell equipment, provide demonstrations, and help develop state of the art solutions for customers. The Mining Account Manager is required to use Ziegler's CRM to track opportunities, sales, and lost sales.

Responsibilities:

Meets and responds to the needs of assigned customers in a professional and timely mannerMaintains a proficient level of mechanical aptitude and understanding of products and servicesMaintains customer records and track opportunities in sales link, to include sales leads, sales and lost salesPrepares accurate and timely quotes for customers on new and used equipmentTracks and maintains availability listings for equipmentPrepares sales contracts for obtained orders and submits those orders for processingDevelops a territory coverage plan including budget, competitive analysis and forecastingManages customer equipment issues and questions by researching and providing customers with recommendationsWorks closely with other sales, branch administrative, and product support personnel to ensure customer satisfaction. Resolve any customer issues with appropriate branch personnel in a timely mannerIdentifies prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferencesCompletes machine inspections and documents potential issues

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree requiredMinimum of two years of successful sales experience selling mining equipmentCaterpillar or other OEM sales experience preferredStrong mechanical aptitudeProven approach for selling high value mining equipmentPersonal Attributes: Achievement Orientation, Commitment / Dependability, Conflict Management, Customer Focus, Sociability, TeamworkClean driving record required

Travel:

Up to 10% travel

Minimum Physical Requirements:

Push/pull up to 50 lbsLift/carry up to 50 lbsLift bulky objectsStanding, walking, using hands, talking, hearing, neck rotation, trunk rotation, stair climbing, ladder climbing, repetitive bending, kneeling, sustained squat, forward reaching, overhead reaching, crawling.Working Conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor. Noise level may be loud at times.
