Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon (MIGS)

About this role:
As a MIGS Surgeon with Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. We are an established team of physicians, advanced practice providers, and supported by a collegial well-trained staff. We are excited to welcome another physician to our practice.

Clinic and OR are located on Intermountain Medical Center campus in Murray, Utah. Intermountain Medical Center is the premier academic medical center and flagship quaternary hospital for Intermountain Health. In addition to MIGS, our Women’s Health division includes OB/GYN generalists, MFM, Gynecologic Oncology, Complex Family Planning, Urogynecology, and Midwifery. Intermountain Medical Center has a full complement of allied support services, including pelvic floor physical therapy, advanced imaging services and interventional radiology, and surgical subspecialists such as colorectal surgery and urology.

This MIGS Surgeon will focus their practice in complex gynecological surgery, with emphasis in chronic pelvic pain and endometriosis.Weekly schedule will typically include 2 days in clinic and 2 days in the OR. Newly redesigned office provides ample exam rooms and in-office procedure space.  Available block time in the OR, with 24/7 physician anesthesia coverage, Da Vinci Robot XI & DV5 Surgical Systems on site. OB/GYN residents first assist, or generalists are available to co-scrub in many surgical cases. Personal practice call will be covered by your generalist partners, with expectation that the MIGS Surgeon will average 3 call shifts per month covering unassigned gyn patients in the Emergency Department. ED call time is compensated.No obstetric care required. Position is eligible for a $30,000 starting bonus, up to $20,000 in relocation assistance, $75,000 in student loan assistance, and for those still in fellowship, a monthly training stipend.

What you’ll bring:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN Completion of a Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery Fellowship Unrestricted Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain an unrestricted licenseBasic Life Support Provider Certification (BLS)Ability to successfully complete Intermountain’s credentialing process

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
