All required PPE is provided by the company including prescription glasses. All tools are provided by the company. We offer a uniform service paid for by the company.
There is a tier system for training. TPC training offered online. Completing the training is how you move up the tiers.
Principal Accountabilities:
Provide Operation support in and around the shaft elevator, feeders, conveyors, shaft walkways, openings and screens to ensure the buildup and overflow of salt product is continually removed and the area kept clean of buildup and remains operations
Servicing, inspecting and operating various mobile support equipment including various forklifts, trucks, tractors, and bobcats as well as support the production panels in any way needed
Performing routine tasks to ensure functional operation and reliability of assets
Understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Must be 18 years or older
Basic computer skills
Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include: working underground (up to 2300 feet), bending, lifting up to 50lbs., kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
Ability to obtain and maintain Alcohol Tobacco and Firearm (ATF) clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience
Prior experience in production and equipment operations related work
