Looking for experience **Millwright Journeyman** pay rate vary from **$32.00-$34.00** depending on certifications. Per Diem if eligible is **$95.00 days worked** currently scheduled **5x10's** As a **Millwright Journeyman** for our **CP Chem Project In Orange Texas** , you will contribute to our team by: + Safe use of Hand & Power Tools + Work safely at all times and promote safety to others around you. + Strong working knowledge of and experience working with rotating equipment. + Perform quality work as determined by the project specifications. + Accountable for all tools and materials at the beginning and end of each shift. + Assist immediate supervisor with aligning future tasks to be completed. + Coordinate work with other crafts and co-workers on the job. + Assist in assuring all required PCL and client Safety and QA/QC forms are properly filled out with all necessary signatures. + Must work well as part of a team. + Keep a clean work area. + Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures. + Ensure proper permits have been obtained and have the ability to read & understand all permits. + Keep track of all components and materials for your project tasks. + Responsible for the proper disassembly and assembly of rotating equipment. + Participate fully in health, safety, quality, and environmental processes. + Ambassador for PCL to the client, other contractors, and the public. What you will bring to the role: + Four or more years of experience in the industrial Millwright industry (petrochemical, power plant, cement plant) or related field + Strong math knowledge and skills as related to the job tasks. + Able to effectively use verbal and written communication skills. + Able to set, grout, and align pumps and motors. + Able to align shafts and install seals. + Understand tolerances (+ -) related to Millwright work and project specifications. + Working knowledge of lubrication and oil mist systems. + Able to check vibration on rotating equipment. + Able to use laser alignment equipment. + Able to read P&IDs. + Able to conduct a basic layout for equipment installation + Able to read and understand safety instructions, signs, labels, and permits in English. + Able to successfully complete applicable site-specific training. + Successfully complete the appropriate PCL skills assessment tests.
