Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a skilled Millwright to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of machinery and equipment to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting mechanical issues, performing routine maintenance, and collaborating with various departments to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency. Safety and attention to detail are paramount in this role.

Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to resolve them promptly. Conduct inspections and assessments of machinery and equipment to identify potential problems and areas for improvement. Install new machinery and equipment according to specifications and safety standards. Collaborate with other departments, including production and engineering, to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to operations. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and maintenance schedules. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in millwright techniques and technologies. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Millwright in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Completion of a Millwright apprenticeship program. Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical systems and performing repairs. Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and other mechanical systems. Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations. Experience in plastic manufacturing is a definite advantage.
