Experience

3 years + Millwright experience in fast moving packaging machines3 years' experience in a FMCG3 years working in an Electro-Mechanics environmentAcceptable level of skill regarding Argon weldingGood knowledge of PLCs, ac drives and various motor startersKnowledge of basic riggingKnowledge of alignment

Making sure machinery is available and utilized to full capacityCarrying out planned and preventative maintenance to improve operational efficiency on all machines assigned to the positionElectrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs on equipment such as boilers, sterilizers, conveyors, pumps, etc.To minimize plant downtime through efficient & effective maintenance in line with good engineering practiceRewiring of electrical machinery with a view to effective improvementsOverhaul spare / old machinery to be available when breakdowns occurWork in full compliance with the approved safety regulations such as LOTOTORead blueprints and schematic drawings to understand how machinery should be assembledWorking on Hydraulic and pneumatic machines with PLC circuitsAligning pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, electric motors and pulleysAlways maintaining 5s and hygiene standards in line a food manufacturing plantCompany’s Standard Operating Procedures § To efficiently manage stocks of spares & equipment needed to maintain plantMaximize Plant efficiency through continuous improvementSupervision and training of assistants and apprentices
