Description Employee who, under supervision, safely performs duties related to the production of copper and/or molybdenum concentrates in the Mill at a skilled level. Completes duties within the Mill process which could include tasks within the following areas: fine crushing plant, COB, ball Mill, roughers, cleaners, flotation cells, moly plant, copper moly thickeners, tailing thickeners, and mill control roomTakes process readings and makes necessary process changes or adjustmentsUses electronic process monitoring system to monitor conveyor, plant systems and equipmentPerforms start-up and shut-down of plant or related systemsOperates processing equipment and makes adjustments as needed; performs basic maintenance on processing equipment and reports maintenance issuesMay operate mobile equipment such as front-end loaders, forklifts, skid-steer loaders, and overhead cranesPerforms area housekeeping duties and may perform work area and safety auditsPerforms other duties as requiredQualificationsMinimum Qualifications
Six (6) months of experience in Mill process operationsMust have completed academic and practical competencies required (this includes Line of Progression requirements for internal employees where LOP Exists) and have experience demonstrating the required aptitude. The selected candidate shall demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge and skills while also passing a written assessment where required. This exam is based on skills/abilities and/or academic knowledge; as well as safety.Knowledge of the wet grind system and flow systems through mill and floatation areaKnowledge of the filtering and drying processMay be required to complete HAZMAT training as required by Department of Transportation regulationsKnowledge of placard system to accurately identify hazardous materialsKnowledge of environmental policies and responsible for reporting any issues and/or concerns

What We Offer You
The estimated pay range for this role is currently $24.00 - $31.00/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors.
