Desired Qualifications: Experience in physical education, art, music or general classroom required. Preferred: Experience planning and implementing summer or out-of-school time camps and/or programming. Experience working with students in 5th - 8th grade. Position Summary/Responsibilities: Plan and implement an engaging and interactive summer fun camp experience for middle school students. Attend 2 days of curriculum writing/planning/safety training (flexible days) Summer camps will run from July 7th - July 17th and August 4th - August 14th (Monday - Thursdays) Additional Notes: Preference given to teachers who are available to work the entire 4 weeks. The minimum number of weeks to be worked by one candidate is 2 weeks. The program consists of two sessions, two weeks each, from 9 am - 12 pm each day. Camps will take place at Arcadia Middle School. Each camp class will consist of 18 - 25 students in 6th - 7th grade. GTA professional rate including 30 minutes planning per day.
