Job Description

As a Mid-Weight Designer at Publicis Pro you will be at the heart of the design output of projects, ever brimming with design-led concepts.

You create work that drives projects forward and are relied upon to answer design briefs with creative solutions to a very high standard. You bring ideas, energy and solid design skills to any task or stage of project; from immersion to strategy to creative expression.

You are enthusiastic and happy to work on any kind of task or project that comes through the agency, knowing that the opportunity to work on design projects from concept to final artwork is always there.

Additionally you would seek to inspire the more junior creatives on the team through your management and support you will help build a more inclusive, innovative, creative culture.

What you’ll be doing:

As a Mid-Weight Designer at Publicis Pro, you'll be at the forefront of bringing campaigns to life from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include:

Collaborating with creatives to conceptualise and refine ideas.Crafting compelling designs across various channels and formats for digital and print assets.Interpreting client feedback to create designs that align with their objectives.

Qualifications

What Formal training in a specific design discipline or relevant experience. Proven skills and competencies within the creative industry. Generally, 2 to 5 years of industry experience.

Demonstrated creative judgement in internal discussions.Ability to translate ideas into visually stunning designs.Collaborate with client services and project managers to understand project requirements and deliver designs that meet client objectives.Strong foundation in design principles such as typography and layout.Portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking and outstanding visual skills.

Fostering an environment of openness and collaboration.Building strong relationships with colleagues.Outstanding organisational skills and proactive information management.

Client:

Confidently presenting design concepts to internal teams and clients.Tailoring designs to meet specific client needs and industry trends.Maintaining meticulous attention to detail and brand guidelines.

What qualities and behaviours we’re looking for:

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and digital design programs
such as Figma or XD.​​Basic understanding of UX design principles.Good understanding of presentation applications such as PowerPoint.A strong understanding of conceptualisation, graphic design, illustration, typography and with a good knowledge of motion graphics and video techniques.Strong problem-solving skills with a solutions-focused approach.Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.Passion for creativity and a keen eye for design.Openness to receiving and implementing constructive feedback.Collaborative spirit and infectious energy.Exceptional organisational and time management skills.Confidence in presenting ideas internally.Flexibility and adaptability in the face of evolving project requirements.Ability to illustrate (specialisation not required).Curiosity and a thirst for knowledge, eager to learn from peers and mentors.
