Kforce's client, a growing Engineering Technology company in Reno, NV is seeking a couple of Mid-Level, Senior and/or Principal Structural Engineers with an Active P.E. License. We are working directly with the Hiring Manager on these search assignments. Responsibilities: * Execute and manage structural engineering projects with minimal supervision, owning the entire process from concept to completion * Will perform steel building design (including seismic), concrete foundation design, equipment anchorage, with a little bit of equipment platform/equipment support and cold formed steel stud design * Develop detailed design drawings and specifications from concept to production as well as, perform complex structural calculations, review design work by others, and generate comprehensive reports and evaluations * Monitor and observe construction sites to ensure compliance with design intent, proactively identifying opportunities to improve quality and efficiency * Analyze and design concrete, steel, and masonry structural elements while creating and justifying calculations based on the relevant material codes * External design consultants to deliver coordinated, high-quality construction documents on time * Work both independently and within interdisciplinary teams to arrive at technical solutions that meet project requirements * Provide direction, mentorship, and supervision to junior engineers and other team members, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment * Interface with internal business units to define project requirements, present designs, and incorporate feedback effectively * We do land grading, underground and overhead utilities, hydrology, drainage; We do the buildings we design * We also get into the installation of the tools * Develop workflows, templates, and processes to boost design productivity and quality
