This position is in the Power Delivery Substation Department in our Minneapolis office located in Burnsville, Minnesota. This is an in-office position, but flexibility is available for a hybrid work environment (employees will need to live within driving distance of the office). **Responsibilities** + Perform and direct others in the detailed design of medium to extra-high-voltage utility substations + Perform detailed design of one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, protection schematics, wiring diagrams, SCADA and communications + Familiar with conduit and cable sizing/routing, substation physical layouts, AC/DC service calculations and selection of substation equipment + The successful candidate shall be able to contribute to substation equipment specifications, proposal development, and project scheduling + Occasional travel will be required. **Required Education/Experience** + Ability to function as a Mid-Level Substation P&C Designer in our Minneapolis, Minnesota office + Experience in 15kV through 230kV substation design and IEEE/ANSI standards + Experience filling the role as substation designer for several projects occurring concurrently + 4+ years experience in utility substation design as outlined above + Strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills in order to work effectively with internal team members and external client personnel + Legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without the need for work sponsorship. **Desired Education/Experience** + Experience in 230kV through 500kV substation design. + Experience with BIM style design software (AutoCAD Electrical and Vault).
