The Mid-Level Graphic Design Specialist is responsible for developing and executing design concepts that align with the organization’s brand and production standards. This role involves managing the design and production of graphic art for various media channels, coordinating with customers and stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery. The Mid-Level Graphic Design Specialist also helps in curating content for communication channels and maintaining the organization's brand image.

 

Responsibilities

Design and produce a wide range of graphics, digital media, and visual content for change effort communications across a diversity of formats (e.g., briefings, newsletters, flyers, posters, fact sheets, websites, social media, news and announcements, trifolds, and branding materials)Ensure all designs are aligned with the client branding, providing compelling visuals that effectively communicate targeted messages to stakeholdersCreate artifacts for various platforms, including print and digital mediaCollaborate with the Senior Communication Specialist and client to support the graphic design needs for events, presentations, and other communication engagementsDesign assets for publications, including articles, newsletters, videos, booth displays, and other materials for conferences and eventsUpdate the content and design of the client’s internal website as neededAssist in creating content for various communication channels, including press releases, blog posts, social media updates, and video productionSupport the client’s social media strategy by designing visuals for consistent messaging and stakeholder engagementWork with customers and stakeholders to conceptualize and deliver design projects on time, ensuring alignment with stakeholder requirementsMaintain an ongoing collaboration with the client to incorporate current graphics and branding into new designsEnsure that all design artifacts comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standardsMonitor the effectiveness of graphic and visual materials, gathering feedback to improve designs and ensure they meet the intended communication objectivesShare design insights, best practices, and content guidelines with the broader team to ensure consistent messaging and quality standards Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in graphic design, visual arts, or related fieldsStrong understanding of design principles, including color theory, composition, typography, and digital designProficiency in production management and digital design tools/softwareU.S. Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications

Certification in Graphic Design or related fields is a plus.Experience with digital media, social media strategy, and content creation for multiple platforms.Previous federal consulting experience preferred
