ResponsibilitiesDue to continued growth, ENERCON is seeking Mid-Level Electrical Engineers to join the team. These positions will work onsite (at one of our office locations) and offer opportunities to learn and grow within the company.
Understand roles played by other disciplines on the project and possess the ability to coordinate and interface with other engineering disciplinesParticipate in reviewing and checking designs, drawings, and data prepared by other engineers or subcontractorsPrepare design studies, project scopes and engineering estimatesManage budget, scope, schedule, and quality associated with the designated work assignment with minimal guidance and technical oversightPrepare electrical equipment procurement and installation specifications and evaluate technical bids and select equipmentDevise new approaches to technical problemsTravel and participate in field installation, checkout, and start-upDirect and oversee routine and advanced technical work performed by others on assigned projects and maintain quality standards of all assigned projects Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited universityMinimum of 3 years’ experience in Electrical Engineering designExperience supporting modifications of Nuclear Power Plants preferredExperience in electrical codes, standards and criteria for power systemsDemonstrated proficiency in preparation of electrical calculations is desiredMakes recommendations based on knowledge and experienceProficient in Microsoft SuiteExcellent writing, presentation and communication skillsAbility to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams Additional InformationAbout ENERCON:
