Belay Technologies is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our intel team. The selected candidate will assess existing capabilities, identify potential approaches to increase DevOps adoption and convert applications into cloud environments as needed. Analyze capabilities to identify data migration, software modification, legal, security, and compliance requirements associated with the cloud conversion. Engage in the design, development, and testing of software changes required for converting capabilities, adhering to the approach selected by the Government. Develop, test, and coordinate a deployment plan to implement changes seamlessly into the cloud environment.
Leverage cloud experience to ensure a smooth integration of modified capabilities into cloud environments, optimizing performance and resource utilization.

Candidates should have the following qualifications: TS/SCI Clearance with polygraphA bachelor's degree in IT and six (6) years of experience in software development/engineeringFour (4) additional years of software development experience may be substituted in lieu of a degreeFour (4) years' experience with cloud technologiesExperience managing and optimizing DevOps practices within a project or organizationIn-depth understanding of DevOps principles, tools, and methodologies, with a focus on driving efficiency and continuous improvementStrong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learningExperience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) processes for automationExperience with Java and JavaScriptExperience developing and updating technical documentationExperience with agile development methodologies
 Candidates are desired to have the following skills:Relevant certifications in DevOps and related technologies are highly desirableExperience the with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Confluence & JiraExperience managing systems hosted in virtual environments such as AWSExperience managing and optimizing DevOps practices within a project or organization
