ResponsibilitiesDue to continued growth, we are seeking Mid-Level Civil/Structural Engineers to join our team. These opportunities are available across all our office locations.
Understand roles played by other disciplines on the project and possess the ability to coordinate and interface with other engineering disciplinesParticipate in reviewing and checking designs, drawings, and data prepared by other engineers or subcontractorsPrepare design studies, project scopes and engineering estimatesManage budget, scope, schedule, and quality associated with the designated work assignment with minimal guidance and technical oversightPrepare electrical equipment procurement and installation specifications and can evaluate technical bids and select equipmentDevise new approaches to technical problemsTravel and participate in field installation, checkout, and start-upDirect and oversee routine and advanced technical work performed by others on assigned projects and maintain quality standards of all assigned projects Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited universityMinimum of 3 years of power system design experience in the Nuclear IndustryDemonstrated proficiency in preparation of structural calculations is desiredKnowledge of discipline-specific computer analysis codes as well as standard office production softwareProficient in Word and ExcelFamiliar with the International Building code and building code designGood writing, presentation, and communication skillsAbility to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teamsFamiliar with concrete and steel design codes and with working stress and ultimate strength design approaches Additional InformationAbout ENERCON:
