Mid-Level Campus Planner

Daily tasks will encompass a spectrum of roles including design across all project phases, storytelling and documentation, design of engagement tools and strategies, community engagement, research, and support of pursuits (marketing and business development). This position is also expected to take a leadership role related to key tasks as well as mentor junior staff. Select responsibilities will include: Planning design inclusive of physical, social, economic, and sustainability considerations to create innovative and responsible design for our clients; Management/Leadership of select project components; Creation of graphic content including: analysis and diagramming, visualization, presentations, reports, and other visual communication; Narrative writing; Process and engagement design; Facilitation of stakeholder engagement; Coordination of internal team members, sub-consultants, clients, external partners, and interface with local/national professional organizations; Assistance in developing proposals, interview presentations, and other collateral. Qualifications Graphic Communication Skills – High level of proficiency in: Hand Sketching, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino or SketchUp, Enscape or Lumion, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, ArcGIS (preferred but not required), and Revit (preferred but not required); Design Excellence – Strong working knowledge of best practices related to urban design principles and standards, campus planning, open space design, sustainability, and resiliency coupled with a passion for problem-solving to enhance the spaces we live-in and occupy; Flexibility & Collaboration – Able to work across design phases, project types, regions, and processes; Vision & Creativity – Interest in evolving our practice and processes in innovative ways to enhance impact and outcomes; Communication & Engagement – Comfortable with presenting your ideas to others, public speaking experience, and experience contributing to community engagement processes; Leadership – Experience in guiding teams, mentoring less experienced staff, listening to and incorporating the ideas of others, and are interested in representing Page to clients, sub-consultants, and the broader community; Passion – Eagerness for continual personal and professional growth and a willingness to support marketing and business development efforts, represent Page as an active member of pertinent professional organizations, and a commitment to life-long learning in pursuit of best supporting our clients and projects; Multi-lingual (Not required) – Ability to connect with a diverse range of stakeholders to amplify underrepresented voices in our design processes; 5-10 Years of professional experience in a design related field; Professional certification and/or license in one or more of the following: AICP, NOMA, AIA, LEED, LEED-ND, Sites AP, or other pertinent credentials; Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Urban Design, Landscape Architecture, Graphic Design, or related field from an accredited university.
