This position is open to candidates throughout the United States but preference is for those near the companies office locations. This position can be preformed remotely but requires 10 -20% travel** The Microsoft Power Platform Developer I is l be responsible for building applications and components using Power Platform PowerApps and Power Automate. The role will also be responsible for interpreting functional requirements into technical designs for web applications built in Power Apps and the systems they interact with. The developer will need to understand requirements and transforming the business use cases into creating applications for end users. Contribute to the Power Platform Center of Excellence with other resources to develop best practices, share knowledge and ideas, and work with power users and subject matter experts. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** + Design, develop, and support solutions within Power Platform using out-of-the-box features and capabilities. + Gather requirements and help build and document specifications for development in a design document. Conduct gap analysis between application and stated customer requirements. Work with stakeholders in all business units to formulate scope and objectives for new initiatives. + Serve as a subject matter expert for questions and troubleshoot end user issues + Identify and document best practices and processes regarding our custom systems. Design and implement data maintenance and clean up processes. + Work with clients to demonstrate the changes to the system to ensure all relevant business needs are addressed. + Attend meetings and regularly communicate with team members and business stakeholders. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences/Engineering, associated discipline, or equivalent technical experience. + Experience and comfort with using and developing Power Platform PowerApps, Power Automate. + Experience in total modern web and/or application development using any Microsoft technologies/skills. + Experience in the Microsoft Power Platform – MS PowerApps, MS Power Automate (Flow), Power BI and Power virtual agents. + Familiarity with robotic process automation (rpa) and business process automation (bpa). + Knowledge in programming and web app development best practices. + Experience in analysis, design development, testing and implementation of enterprise scale apps. + Experience developing new PowerApps model as well as enhancing existing apps. + Understanding of PowerApps formulas and development methods. + Exposure to SharePoint, Database like MS SQL, etc + Experience creating business processes and custom connectors for Microsoft Power Automate/ Flow. + Experience with API or services integrations and a firm understanding of implementing solutions with multiple data sources. + Experience with a variety of business software applications required. + Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and version control repositories (such as Git) a plus. + Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process a plus. **Physical Demands:** Ability to work in an office environment using laptop, cell phone, and office phones.
