Job Description

You will be supporting R&D efforts in the preparation, testing and evaluation of new materials for potential use across the various business areas Diversey serves. 

You will perform laboratory assignments in collaboration with project chemists and scientists, which includes EPA, EN, and internally developed test procedures on experimental microbiology formulations and competitive products. 

You will be responsible for preparing necessary reagents and media, record experimental data, maintain a laboratory notebook, make calculations and prepare data reports, assist with inventory management, use various laboratory equipment, and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Qualifications

You have an AA degree in  microbiology, biology, or relevant technical program with two years’ experience or a college degree in microbiology, biology or relevant technical program.

You have scientific knowledge and ability to understand and carry out standard methods (SOP’s) with aseptic technique

You have working knowledge of safe microbiology lab functions, safe usage of autoclaves, and BSL2 labs.
