YOUR ROLE
Are you seeking an exciting career in Quality? We are looking for a highly skilled Microbiological Laboratory Manager to oversee and ensure compliance with microbiological standards and procedures in our laboratory. Join us to enhance the safety and quality of our products that are susceptible to microbiological risks while promoting innovation and compliance within our organization.
From the Day 1, your key responsibilities will include managing the Micro Lab, establishing microbiology laboratory standards and procedures, qualifying personnel, and conducting microbiological risk assessments in partnership with the P&G Industrial Microbiologist and other departments. You will lead the microbiological training and competency program at our Groß-Gerau site, manage the comprehensive microbiological program for timely execution and communication of results, and act as the primary contact for reviewing and approving microbiology-related investigations, new equipment, and facility designs tied to microbiological initiatives.
Additionally, you will identify opportunities for design improvements to reduce microbial contamination risks and contribute to the development of effective cleaning and sanitization procedures that comply with company and regulatory requirements, ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant microbiological regulations for P&G and its customers.
Job Qualifications
YOUR PROFILE
You have completed a scientific/technical degree in food science, biotechnology, microbiology, or a related field.
Ideally, you have 1-3 years of experience in related fields.
You have strong leadership qualities and emotional intelligence with the ability to coach, communicate expectations, uphold standards, and influence the entire site and all business areas.
You have experience in implementing processes with strong follow-up to achieve a fully compliant system and corresponding improvements.
Collaboration across many levels and functions with quality assurance and other functions, both internally and externally
You can speak and write proficiently in English and German (B2).
