supervising and performing tasks related to Governmental reimbursement issues for the healthcare system Must have a working knowledge of the healthcare industry that includes familiarity with Medicare Cost Reporting and State OHS reporting reopeningsappeals healthcare surveys and financial reportingPosition ResponsibilitiesKey Areas of Responsibility Supervises and assists in the preparation supporting workpapers and filing of annual Medicare Cost Reports ensuring strict compliance with all Medicare regulations policies procedures and guidelines Assist in the preparation and submission of OHS annual filings including Facility Fee reporting Manage quarterly Third Party Reserve review calculation Serve as a resource in the areas of Medicare and Medicaid regulatorysettlement matters for the system including Medicare DSH Medicare IMEGME reimbursement and Transplant Services if applicable Work as an effective team member to complete project assignments Perform a detailed review of the teamrsquos work to ensure quality and thoroughness Assist in training and mentoring analysts Participates in recruitment of new experienced staffWorking RelationshipsThis Job Reports To Job Title
