and reviews planning coordination and administration of System general accounting activitiesResponsibilitiesKey liaison for the EPIC Cash Management Module Frontier ndash EPIC Single Billing Office SBO Patient recon system Kyriba ndash Bank to PS GL Interphase PS ARBI ndash Non Patient Billing System with all associated account reconciliationsKey liaison for Payroll to PSGL interphase with all associated account reconciliations Daily staff supervision and developmentHas prior management experience Manager will continue to groom the staff that have management desire or potential Assistance with Accounting projects for timely processing of information responding to questions and attending meetings for numerous projectsMaintains proper controls and segregation of duties Reviews and approves journal entries balance sheet reconciliations account analysis and subsidiary ledgersMay produce financial statements and budget to actual reportsReviews prepares analyzes and maintains trend informationReviews audit work papers for assigned areasParticipates in month end close activities including the preparation and review of journal entries and review of budget to actual reportsSubstantiates financial transactions by auditing documents Verifies and analyzes business records transactions and proceduresResponds to inquiries from management researchrsquos issues clarifies information and prepares supporting dataWorks closely with intercompany partners on intercompany reconciliationsAssists in documentation and monitoring of internal controls and proceduresOther Duties as assignedComplexity of WorkWithin scope of job requires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision Must have ability to work accounting experience preferred with prior manager experience required CPA preferred Willing to consider other levels of experienceKnowledge Skills and Ability RequirementsExcellent interpersonal analytical and oralwritten communication skillsUnderstands and applies knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principals GAAP financial analysis and reporting Attention to detail with the ability to perform and work within scheduled deadlines is requiredProficiency with Excel is requiredExperience with Peoplesoft General Ledger preferred but willing to trainSuccessfully achieves
