Location Description Post Consumer Brands corporate headquarters in Lakeville, Minn. is about 20 miles south of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Lakeville has all the benefits of smaller town living with access to everything a large metropolitan area has to offer. Responsibilities The Manager – IT Delivery will lead a team of developers and business systems analysts in the delivery of project outcomes to meet business objectives. This manager should have the ability to coach and lead their team as well as be able to lend their expertise to problem solving and delivery when needed. A successful candidate must be able to collaborate and build relationships at all levels of the organization. Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Develop business relationships. Understand business problems and work with the team to solve them. Collaborate and build relationships at all levels of the organization. Lead a technical team of software developers and business systems analysts responsible for delivering solutions to support changing business process needs, new functionality requirements, and a growing business. Ensure that work is scoped appropriately, estimated accurately, and resourced to achieve expected business outcomes. Manage team’s performance and engagement level through constructive feedback, identification of training and tool gaps, and career path development. Strive to increase the team’s business and technical knowledge to improve customer support and the solutions delivered. Identify gaps in skills and develop training plans to improve knowledge depth across the team. Recommend future projects to support and improve the landscape of systems in their area, reducing technical debt and extending the use of the systems were appropriate. Alignment, support, and education of others on the Enterprise standards, guidelines, and best practices for meeting technology goals. Suggest improvements to standards, as appropriate. Ensure that IT Best Practices are followed in the delivery of all work. Qualifications EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in MIS, computer science, or other IT relevant experience. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 3+ Years of management experience, leading technical and functional resources. 5+ years of experience within an IT or technical organization, including applications development, implementation, and/or business analysis. Demonstrated experience building winning teams, identifying growth opportunities in others, developing talent, and recognizing talent gaps. Strong leadership skills, including but not limited to collaborative attitude, providing constructive feedback, driving for results, aligning priorities with business objectives, and effective communication skills. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry experience. Experience working in and supporting a SOX compliant environment. Experience with mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and integrating acquired companies into existing IT systems. Experience supporting finance functions and applications (i.e. AP, AR, Accounting, Deductions, etc.). Experience working in JD Edwards E1.
