**Job Summary** Provides leadership and direction to the Design Engineering staff in line with the organizations vision and values. Develops departmental plans to achieve short term and long range goals. Provides guidance and support to staff to ensure professional development and to accomplish department objectives. Builds and develops strategic internal/external relationships to help achieve department objectives. Facilitates and encourages the improvement of existing processes, policies and procedures. Monitors and evaluates the performance of the staff to ensure the completion of goals and department objectives.
