PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a **Metrology Technician** to play a critical role in maintaining, calibrating, and certifying Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE). Your work will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with national standards, supporting a wide range of industries that rely on precise measurement tools. **What You'll Be Doing** + **Calibrate and certify** TMDE traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). + Utilize **certified laboratory standards** to perform fault isolation, troubleshooting, and adjustments. + Maintain and repair **linear dimensional hand tools and other related equipment** . + Work with **commercial, manufacturer, and military calibration procedures** to ensure accuracy and compliance. + Collaborate with a team of skilled technicians to **troubleshoot and resolve measurement issues** . + Maintain accurate calibration records and documentation. **What You Bring to the Team** **Required Qualifications:** + **High school diploma** and at least **2 years of experience** in a metrology or calibration role. + Proficiency in **Microsoft Office Suite** . + Strong **attention to detail** and ability to follow technical procedures precisely. + Strong **math skills** , particularly in algebra. + A **positive attitude** and willingness to learn new tasks. + **This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
