As a Metrology Engineer, you will be responsible for leading metrological activities for New Technology Development and New Product development projects.
As a Metrology Engineer, you will be responsible for:
• Driving metrological activities to support and validate new products and new technology projects needs;
• Identifying, developing, validating and introducing engineering solutions to meet near term and long range engineering needs
for measurement and calibration activities;
• Coordinating the activities with Engineering & Manufacturing and Metrology LAB team members;
• Qualifying as ACCREDIA ISO 17025 operator in the fields of operation of the LAB;
• Maintaining an active role in developing and defining the state of the art in metrology in order to anticipate, apply, adapt or develop technologies for product introduction, quality, performance, cost improvements and problem resolution in meeting current and future business needs including adherence to schedules and estimated costs;
• Communicating results by preparing written reports and making presentations describing analyses performed, solutions developed, and value obtained;
• Identifying plans to ensure technical requirements, costs, and schedules are met;
• Managing and using high level metrological instrumentation like X Ray
Computed Tomography to implement and validate new measurement procedures;
• Providing technical guidance, direction and training to new metrology engineers, specialists, technicians and co-ops.

To be successful in this role you will:
• Have a Master Degree in Physics, Mathematics, Engineering (Electronic or electrical);
• Have professional experience in an engineering role or working in a Metrology or Research environment at National or International level;
• Demonstrate analytical, experimental, and problem solving skills;
• Be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization
• Be a team player
• Be fluent in English, spoken and written
