As a Metrologist, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest technical specifications and standards.

  What You'll Be Doing: Calibrate and certify test equipment to meet precise technical specifications. Apply inspection and testing methods to manufacture products that exceed customer expectations. Examine manufactured products and services to ensure they align with customer requirements. Develop programs utilizing Vision Systems to enhance quality control. Preserve and maintain the plant’s inspection, measurement, and test equipment. Create comprehensive work instructions for measuring equipment. Train staff on the correct use and handling of measuring tools. Support the development of corrective and preventive action plans. Conduct necessary measurements on first production parts for machine release. Provide customer support, including line trials, site testing, and quality notifications. Analyze data and prepare summaries to validate or identify deviations from existing standards. Facilitate effective communication between management and operators. Your Skills and Experience: Knowledge of injection defects and assemblies. Experience in a high-volume manufacturing plant. Familiarity with Vision systems or CMM GD&T experience Experience with statistical process control. An Associate’s Degree or higher in metrology, mathematics, science, or a related field. Experience in providing Quality Systems training to employees. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, QA applications, and general mathematics. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills At least 3 years of experience in Quality or Metrology, with a preference for experience in the plastics industry. Why This Opportunity?
