Job Responsibilities:

Summer student supporting the North American Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) team. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Support processes and tasks as defined by the NA MES team including, but not limited to:Program modificationsReport / dashboard / BI generation/modificationReviewing and supporting existing MES support processesFacilitate changes to collaboration sitesTake ownership of a designated project that explores and integrates new technologies into our MES solutions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring milestones are met and the project stays on track.

Qualifications:

Previous instruction in IT related fields of application development, databases, and report building.Basic understanding of programming languages and software development concepts.Good communication skills (written and verbal) Good attitude and willingness to learnSelf motivated and good problem-solving skills

Education / Experience

High School Diploma Currently Attending a College or University2+ year of College/University preferred

Special Knowledge / Skills:

Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Good Communication skills (written and verbal) Strong technical and analytical competence in select areas of technology.Working knowledge or courses in programming / developmentWorking knowledge or courses in databases design and database concepts; e.g. Microsoft SQLServerWorking knowledge or courses in report creation/modification; e.g. Microsoft Reporting ServicesWorking knowledge or courses in collaboration tools; e.g. MS Teams or SharePoint
