Overview The Merchandiser Supervisor contributes to the success of Pepsico Beverages Canada through leadership of a team of frontline team to merchandise product in key customers in a fast-paced direct store delivery environment. Coach and motivate a team of merchandisers to provide superior marketplace execution and customer service while achieving Pepsico Beverages objectives. Responsibilities Apply knowledge of merchandising principles to drive productivity Manage multiple priorities while allocating resources between accounts Brief the frontline employees on scheduling and meeting delivery goals Anticipate potential customer issues; apply contingency planning to avoid customer dissatisfaction Train frontline employees and utilize PBC processes and tools Understand cost per unit constraints when meeting customer needs Help employees prioritize the work and promote teamwork Supervise daily operations, delegate tasks and monitor progress Achieve productivity, service and labour cost targets, measure performance to drive accountability Responsible for ensuring the daily health and safety of workers by ensuring all regulatory training is complete and in compliance with regulatory requirements. Cross departmental support with delivery supervisory team Qualifications Bachelor's degree required Professional accomplishments that reflect self-motivation and initiative Solid leadership and interpersonal skills required Demonstrated analytical skills Strong communication and presentation skills required Consumer Products experience in a direct store delivery environment is a plus Demonstrated computer proficiency: Microsoft Suite Previous experience with fact-based direct selling an asset Possess a valid driver's license and own vehicle Must be willing to lift 40lbs periodically The Company PepsiCo is a playground for curious people.
