Merchandiser

About the Position

We are currently looking for an independent contractor who is a detail-orientated Merchandiser to work at a retail location, for 21 hours per week on weekdays!

Responsibilities

Making our packaged products displays look beautiful and appealing to customersBringing products from the storage area and filling up the displays following a PlanogramUpdating any seasonal displays/pricingPlacing product ordersExecuting account-specific initiatives i.e. bookings, end caps, marketing programsRecognizing opportunities to add value on each store visit while collaborating with department personnelProviding regular merchandising support – maintain shelves, Planogram changes, Out of Stock correction, freshness, etc.Preparing and submitting required reporting daily

Position Requirements:

Strong communication skills and ability to build relationshipsAble to maintain a professional demeanor with the public and store personnel when performing dutiesDetail oriented and extremely organizedFlexibility to adjust to an ever-changing market environmentAble to lift up to 45 lbsAble to stand for several hours on a continuous basis
