MEP Commissioning Coordinator (Kansas City/Houston)

**Description**
The MEP Commissioning Coordinator will be responsible for the planning and support of construction project completions and commissioning of a variety of facilities, including commercial and industrial installations. This position will be responsible for the execution of tracking and testing for various facilities as well as supporting the collection of completions documentation and verifications ensuring alignment with project contractual requirements.
+ Review contractual specification for completion and commissioning requirements of projects.
+ Plan turnover boundaries and turnover packages for direct support to construction team.
+ Set up tracking, reporting and turnover documentation of projects.
+ Review, plan and communicate vendor requirements with personnel performing commissioning efforts.
+ Develop commissioning and startup plans.
+ Support completions and field teams with execution of completion and commissioning plans.
+ Perform verifications of construction status and completion on equipment.
+ Inspection of installed devices and completion of field required setup and verifications.
+ Perform checkout, testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning phases of project efforts by addressing problems and routine requirements of equipment and devices.
+ Actively maintain and verify documentation of activities in order to support Burns & McDonnell's record keeping and reporting requirements, including turnover documentation.
+ Understanding of various testing equipment operation processes and procedures as well as logical controllers and field control systems (PLCs) as integrated in startup procedures.
+ Adhere to and promote company and site safety policies.
+ Performs other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma/GED and minimum 7 years of Completions and/or Commissioning experience
+ Associate Degree Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, Construction Management, or relevant field and minimum 5 years of Completions and/or Commissioning experience
+ Bachelor Degree Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, Construction Management, or relevant field and minimum 3 years of Completions and/or Commissioning experience
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Proficient in Bluebeam and cloud based software.
