A Mental Health Worker establishes a therapeutic relationship with assigned patients and helps patients with daily living. Responsible for the overall maintenance of a therapeutic environment in the psychiatric unit. Takes vital signs, weighs patients and collects routine specimens. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor. **Experience:** + High school diploma or equivalent + Minimum of 1 year of related experience. + Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
