The Mental Health Technician II Responsibilities: 

Provides direct patient care to psychiatric inpatients under the direct Supervision of a Registered Nurse.Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing.Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients.Assists with physical care under the direction of an RN.

 

 Required Certification/Licensures:

BLS (Basic Life Support)CNA (Nursing Assistant) - preferred Patient Care Technician - preferred

 

Required Education:

High School or Equivalent Associate's degree in related field - PreferredBachelor's degree in related field- Preferred

 

Required Experience:

6 months – Psychology or Bachelor's degree in related field
