The Mental Health Technician (MHT) provides direct care, direction, and supervision to emotionally and/or behaviorally challenged children and adolescents. The MHT assists in the implementation of individualized treatment plans and focuses on an environment of safety and relationship building. QUALIFICATIONS: + High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred. + Valid Driver's License required. + Must be at least 21 years of age. JOB DUTIES: + Supervise daily routines and responsibilities of our clients and ensure performance of daily self-care tasks, assisting when necessary. + Ensure a safe and secure environment, acting immediately to remove all dangers or threats to the welfare of our clients. Provide minor First Aid as necessary. + Provide milieu management through the use of structured programming. + Facilitate or co-facilitate daily programming activities, transitional meetings, and therapeutic groups. + Participate in the planning and implementation of individualized treatment plans and schedules. + Provide transportation when necessary. + Be available to work overtime on scheduled mandation days as per SOP.
