Three-year training program.*** **What will you be doing:** The Mental Health Associate, under supervision of a licensed clinician, provides mental health prevention, intervention and crisis intervention services within school settings and the community at large following a period of observation and training. Incumbents develop partnerships and deliver a full range of services consisting of assessment, group therapy, individual and family therapy when appropriate. Participates in team meetings and planning. They demonstrate motivation, creativity and serves as a catalyst for effect change. They maintain proficiency/skills including the ability to deliver care to special populations with diverse cultural backgrounds. They can identify safety concerns and institute measures to deliver safe environment. + Conducts assessments of students, as a part of the triage process and for students admitted into the program. + Participates in the treatment planning process by attending treatment team meetings. + Demonstrates sound conceptualization of problems, strengths, goals and objectives; evidence follow through on implementation of approved plans, monitors students’ progress. + Conducts individual, family and group interventions. + Collaborates with internal and external sources in providing clinical treatment. + Coordinates care for patient and care delivery team as needed. **Qualifications** **Experience Requirements:** One (1) plus years of Clinical experience with both children and adults (families). **Educational Requirements:** Master degree in Social Work (MSW) or Marriage Family Therapy.
