Position Purpose:
The Mental Health Aide will provide therapeutic support and milieu maintenance with children and adolescents in a Child Crisis Residential (CIRCA) setting. You will conduct socialization activities, assist with day-to-day personal care needs of consumers, provide crisis prevention interventions, and provide individual interventions including case management support.
What you will do:
Manage consumer urgencies and emergencies with appropriate follow-upComplete progress notes each scheduled shift by policy and procedureMaintain medical record documentation according to organization policies and proceduresReview the mental health history of all consumers through the clinical documentationWork with consumers to develop a comprehensive treatment planMinimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Social/Human Services field OR High School Diploma/Equivalent and 1 year of direct care experienceMust be 21+ years of ageValid Driver’s license and ability to operate an organization vehiclePre-employment drug screen, physical and tb, Act 33/34/73 clearancesPosition Highlights and Benefits:
