JOB DESCRIPTION:

A Memory Care Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day activities and personnel within your service area. This position requires tact, sensitivity and professionalism due to constant interaction with residents and families to guarantee their satisfaction.  Experience with Memory Care required. 

Qualified Candidates may hold a license or certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), or A Licensed Practical Nurse, Advanced Activities Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Preparing equipment for treatment and occasional clerical duties Coordinate and deliver program services

REQUIREMENTS:

Demonstrated knowledge and experience with residents having dementia and appropriate therapeutic/behavioral interventions COTA's must have New York State Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure. LPN must have clean, active license CPR certification COVID-19 Vaccination Physical strength to lift between 50-100lbs Ability to read and understand work assignments, as well as report verbally and provide written documentation as necessary Respect for residents’ privacy and rights; display of genuine concern and empathy for the elderly Able to perform tasks while upholding high standards of quality, cleanliness, and kindness Qualities of responsibility, maturity, diplomacy, and ability to work well with residents and other staff members
