Membership Services Supervisor - ProHealth
*POSITION SUMMARY* To be fully engaged in Health First’s commitment to delivering quality services and customer experience by servicing members’ needs through orientation, education, instruction, and evaluation in health and fitness. Responsible for increasing fitness memberships to fulfill Heath First Wellness strategy and financial goals. Manage related staff and the operation for fee for service and specialized programs. *PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES* 1. Implement membership and sales strategies that promote recruitment of new members, retention of existing members, and growth in membership. Direct staff to support and achieve membership development goals. 2. Keep the Center’s staff informed of membership services programs and work cooperatively to develop and implement these programs in the functional area of responsibility. 3. Ensure proper implementation of front desk schedules and procedures to provide maximum opportunities for member/staff connections. Collaborate and work effectively with all departments to achieve desired results. 4. Train staff and others authorized to sell memberships in selling techniques and procedures. 5. Provide leadership through established performance goals and standards, regular assessment of staff performance including mid-year and annual performance evaluations. 6. Direct and supervise all massage, personal training, aquatic lessons (fee for service), TRX, and specialized programming. 7. Collaborate with leadership to maximize enrollments in provider programs registration/purchases. 8. Create and monitor schedules for personal services such as TRX, Boot Camps and special programming. 9. Track provider (personal trainers, massage, and specialized personal trainer positions) client sessions. *MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS* * Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science or Health Science Education with an emphasis in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology or similar. * Work Experience: One (1) year in / or a combination of the following: direct sales, customer and/or membership services, program development and implementation in a health/fitness setting, and supervision and management of staff in similar or related field. * Licensure: None Required. * Certification: Current American Heart Association’s Heartsaver CPR & AED Program Card. * Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. *PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS* * Education: No additional education required. * Work Experience: Two (2) years or more of experience in the following: direct sales, customer and membership services, program development and implementation in a health/fitness setting, and supervision and management of staff in similar or related field. * Licensure: None Required * Certification: None Required * Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge and/or use of customer or membership software. *PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS* * Standing for long periods of time. * Lift 25lbs or more at any time * Travel to /from HF facilities and/or within Brevard County as needed. **Job:** **Fitness Center Management* **Organization:** **Holmes Regional Medical Center* **Title:** *Membership Services Supervisor - ProHealth* **Location:** *Florida - Brevard County-Viera* **Requisition ID:** *074657*
