We are currently seeking a Meetings & Events Global Process Manager to oversee the daily activities of our operational team within the Global Travel and Events program. This role will focus on coordinating work activities, setting team priorities, and ensuring efficient task completion while adhering to established policies and procedures.


The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong supervisory skills and the ability to coach team members effectively. They should excel at coordinating with other supervisors and understanding how their team's work impacts related operational areas.

Key Responsibilities

Drive the creation, maintenance and optimization of global playbooks, process flows and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for meetings and events management, while identifying opportunities for process enhancementCreate and manage operational project plans utilizing agile methodologies for complex meeting and event initiatives, including resource allocation, timeline management, risk assessment, and mitigation strategiesImplement change management best practices to minimize disruption and ensure smooth adoption of new meetings and events processes and proceduresProvide regular project status updates, milestone tracking, and communication to internal M&E teams, while maintaining transparency and alignment.Assist with other related tasks as assignedSupervise and coordinate daily operational activities of the Operational Excellence team within Amazon Meetings and EventsSet priorities and deadlines for team members to ensure efficient task completionCoach and develop team members to meet performance expectationsMonitor team compliance with established policies and proceduresProvide regular performance feedback and conduct evaluationsTo drive and maintain a sustainability mindset in all activity

Basic Qualifications

3 years project management or meeting & events operations managementDemonstrated experience in setting priorities and managing workflowStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making experienceSuperior verbal and written communication skills, including executive-level presentation experienceWorking knowledge of organizational change management process


Preferred Qualifications

Experience with:Team Scheduling and resource allocationPerformance monitoring and evaluationStandard Operating Procedures (SOPs)4-year college degree or equivalent work experience in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related fieldExpert knowledge in creating and maintaining:Process maps and workflowsTraining Materials and PlaybooksQuality Control MeasuresProficiency in:Project management software (e.g. Microsoft Project, Asana, or similar)Event management platformsMicrosoft Office SuiteBusiness analytics toolsExperience using waterfall, six sigma yellow or green belt, lean or agile project management methodologiesProfessional certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or events management (CMP, CMM, or DES)Demonstrated track record of cultivating strong working relationships and driving collaboration across multiple teams/stakeholders

Estimated total compensation for this position:

108,500.00 – 157,300.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
