ROLE SUMMARY
The Meetings, External Engagements, & Travel (MEET) Senior Analyst position is responsible for processing and ensuring the compliance of all MEET transactions. The Senior Analyst will review transaction details for compliance and follow up with commercial colleagues as needed. Additionally, the Senior Analyst will create digital contracts and submit event payments for reconciliations. The Senior Analyst will also serve as the main point of contact for all key event activities, such as extra coordination and oversight, budget management, and venue selection.
This Senior Analyst will demonstrate accountability and integrity in the face of challenge and respond to change with agility, optimism, and innovation. They will collaborate cross-functionally across the organization as needed.
This role will be based in Dalian, China and work with the regional payments team, regional sourcing team, and other MEET Centers of Excellences as appropriate. This role will report directly to the Country Operations Manager.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Review assigned MEET transactions ensuring that they are compliant and properly documented according to MAPP policy and systems, Country Annex, Country Profile, and MEET StandardsClosely monitor any Meeting Planning Agencies (MPAs) assigned to transaction, ensuring that the logistics actions for the events are completed in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and to the quality expected from PfizerWork with Legal and Local Compliance to get approvals for exceptions when neededConsult with MEET colleagues, business colleagues, healthcare professionals and external organizations to resolve any errors, issues, or rejections as neededEnsure that contracts and letters for MEET transactions are reviewed, signed, and reconciled appropriatelyProvide additional meeting oversight for Key Events, including Business Unit coordination, MPA oversight, walkthroughs, post-event feedback, venue selection, budget management, third party coordination, customer needs, and day-of supportEnsure audit support documentation is gathered appropriatelyConfirm that consultant received proper paymentProvide leadership on special assignmentsSupport roll-out activities, such as translations, testing, and training plans (design, execution, and maintenance)Demonstrate strong communication skills and relationship skills working with the commercial businessEmploy innovative approach to assisting in improving processes and ability to train and deploy changesWork with other MEET leaders regionally to ensure consistency and standardizationWork closely with MEET Operations Leads and MAPP Lead on bringing efficiencies to how we work and ensuring compliance standards are metSupport on training and documentation processes.Lead market touchpoints, support MEET Analyst on escalations and leadership on special assignments.Partner with markets / regional process leads to understand additions / changes to local country annex requirementsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS
