Medical Transport Outreach Liaison

Job Description:

The Medical Transport Outreach Liaison supports relationship development, business development, and marketing activities for Intermountain Health’s medical transport service offerings in a designated territory. This is a field-based position with responsibility for identifying opportunities for collaboration and obtaining feedback from hospital emergency departments, EMS agencies, fire houses, sheriff offices, 911 dispatch centers and other county and community entities in designated markets and to be able to deliver key messages, promote transport services and coordinate issue resolution. This position will work closely with base managers and other operational roles in the medical transport department. The Medical Transport Outreach Liaison will report directly to the Medical Transport Outreach Manager under the Outreach Services Department.

This position is based out of Wyoming or, Billings. This role will cover Montana and Wyoming.

Essential Functions

Develops and facilitates promotional and educational opportunities for medical transport services in a designated territoryServes as Intermountain Health’s primary point of contact to EMS agencies, fire houses, sheriff offices, 911 dispatch centers and other designated entitiesUnderstands the needs of the customer and how Intermountain Health’s medical transport services can meet those needs.Ensures that outreach activities, policies, procedures, and strategies are consistent with and coordinated with those of Intermountain HealthUnderstands medical transport service offerings, and developing trends / issues to anticipate impact and promote integrated strategies and tacticsUtilizes a CRM system to document, access and respond to market data, and to regularly report on milestones to stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications

Demonstrated experience working in medical transport services, outreach, operations or marketing related rolesFamiliarity with medical transport operations, data, and business developmentWillingness and ability to travel 50% of the timeExperience using customer relationship management (CRM) tools.

Preferred Qualifications

Two years of medical transport marketing/PR experience

This includes frequent computer use for typing, accessing needed information, etc.For roles requiring driving: Expected to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

$36.22 - $57.04
