Medical Staff Services Director
Description The director is responsible for the management of medical staff services (credentialing), providing support for functions of medical staff including governance, credentialing, and communications. Skills credentialing, Credentialing, Health care, Medical terminology, Provider relations, Administrative support Top Skills Details credentialing Additional Skills & Qualifications Must have Bachelor’s degree in related field required, Masters preferred. Must have Current certification by the National Association of Medical Staff Services (CPMSM or CPCS), or achievement of certification within two years of working. Must have 6+ years direct experience in medical staff credentialing and privileging required. Must have 1-2+ years in mgmt/leadership experience in management of medical staff credentialing and privileging operations preferred. Strong knowledge of TJC, CMS and CoMAR medical staff standards required. Must be a strong communicator and have experience working with executive leadership such as the board, CEO, COO, top physicians etc. of hospitals Its a PLUS if they are familiar with MD credentialing standards Experience Level Expert Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $161000.00/yr.
