Minimum Qualifications Candidates must meet the following requirements:Transfer Opportunity - Permanent New York State employee currently serving in this title, or in comparable title, and eligible for Section 70.1 transfer;OR Promotional Opportunity - Possession of a license to practice medicine in New York State;ANDCertification by a member board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) in your specialty ANDOne (1) year of permanent service as Medical Specialist 2; ANDEligibility for full and unconditional participation in the Medicaid and Medicare programs.OROpen Competitive:Possession of a license to practice medicine in New York State; AND Certification by the appropriate Medical Specialty Board; AND One (1) year of post-board certification experience in a medical specialty; AND Eligibility for full and unconditional participation in the Medicaid and Medicare programs.
