We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our Medical Affairs team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships with key external medical experts, facilitating knowledge exchange, and contributing to the development of medical strategies. Your expertise and insights will enhance CSL Seqirus' reputation and success in achieving our strategic goals.
This role can be based in Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane.
Your Role
Reporting to Medical Director — Vaccines and Biosecurity ANZ, you will
Facilitate communication between healthcare professionals (HCPs), healthcare decision-makers, and internal brand team colleagues. Provide high-quality scientific exchange and gather customer insights to inform medical and brand strategies.Participate in Scientific Advisory Board meetings to ensure knowledge transfer and foster key opinion leader (KOL) relationships, ensuring scientific understanding and building appropriate advocacy.Provide internal therapeutic and product expertise for regional and other Medical Affairs needs. Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of designated therapeutic areas, the competitive landscape and clinical development pipelines.Deliver presentations to healthcare professionals, KOLs and professional societies.Facilitate collaborative research, and investigator-initiated research activities. Provide as needed support to connect investigators with clinical operations functions. Ensure compliance with CSL Seqirus SOPs and contribute to data generation efforts.Your Skills and Experience
Advanced Scientific Degree (PharmD, Ph.D., M.D.) with 5+ years of experience, including 2+ years in clinical and/or health services education or research, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.Experience in infectious diseases, epidemiology, vaccines, public health, or relevant therapeutic areas is highly desirable.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple external and internal customer demands.Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage a significant volume of projects in a field-based environment.Ability to travel 60-80% of the time (domestic).How to Apply
