Job Summary
Serves all of the Clinic departments and must navigate, compromise, negotiate, and be accountable for the successful tracking and coordination of referrals. Responsible for the preparation of specialized departmental documents, planning, development, and coordination of a wide range of clerical support programs and use of computer systems.
Qualifications Work requires the basic knowledge of theories, principles, & concepts acquired through the completion of an Associated degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Knowledge of and experience with client/server technology, networking, user management or databases preferred. One year experience in a Medical Records office with knowledge of chart retrieval (main file, archive center, and basement) and regulatory agencies, i.e. Blue Cross, DOH (Department of Health), external Auditors). Requires a proficiency with highly technical clerical tasks, which are specific to an area of work at the expert level.
